We live in an hour of great deception. Unfortunately, one of the greatest deceptions that is so insidious is the false notion that everyone is right with God, no matter how they live.
The apostle Paul warned us about this hour through his letters to the churches of his day. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (Amplified Bible) For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold,
Whenever anyone mentions sin, or hell, or judgment people begin to gag, and carry on as if you had slapped them along side the head. People want to imagine that they are good, and that God overlooks anything, and everything they do, no matter how corrupt or perverse it might be.
“There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness. There is a generation; oh, how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up.” (Proverbs 30:12-13 NKJV)
They have created a false idol. In their minds they have concocted a false god who agrees with everything they want. He never makes any demands upon them, and he never expects them to turn away from anything they are doing.
If they are involved in sexual immorality, they imagine that their god is just fine with it. If they are a drunkard, they imagine that god winks at this. If they are liars, or thieves they rationalize by justifying their actions.
These people absolutely loath anyone who would dare confront their delusion with the reality of the truth of God’s Word. They immediately begin to throw out phrases like, “this is not loving.” Or “Jesus taught tolerance.” Or “Judge not lest you be judged!”
I am of no more value in God’s eyes than anyone else. He loves you as much as He loves me or anyone else, and it is not my intention to attempt to inflate myself. It is my intent to slap you with the truth of reality in order to awaken you from this dream world you are living in!
People will not flee from danger until they see that it may immediately impact their lives. In the same way, people will not seek a cure unless they first recognize that they have a disease.
The disease is sin, and the cure is only found in Jesus Christ. He calls to all who will hear His voice, and turn from their sin in humility and repentance to surrender to Him as Lord, Savior & King.
With all that is within me I urge you to hear Him calling to you today, and turn to Him for salvation.
